Start the season with a high-powered evening of favorites! This concert features Strauss’ Suite from Der Rosenkavalier and the virtuosity of guest Santiago Rodriguez performing Saint-Saens’ dazzling Piano Concerto No. 5, “The Egyptian.” Under the baton of Peter Rubardt, the orchestra will deliver a masterful performance, and Rodriguez, dubbed a “phenomenal pianist” by The New York Times, is sure to delight.

Opening Night Rescheduled After Inclement Weather
We are delighted to share that Opening Night!, originally scheduled for October 7 at the Saenger Theatre, has been rescheduled for Saturday, October 28 at 7:30 p.m. The repertoire will remain the same, and the program will feature guest pianist Santiago Rodriguez, as originally slated. We appreciate your patience as we worked to finalize the details, and we hope to see you at the concert!

Dress Rehearsal
There will be an open dress rehearsal on October 28 at 1:30 p.m. Admission is $5. All October 7 dress rehearsal tickets will be honored on October 28. If you have a ticket to the evening performance and would prefer to attend the dress rehearsal, the PSO will honor those tickets for admission.

Pre-Concert Reception for Subscribers
The pre-concert reception for subscribers, hosted by the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra Guild, will be held in the upstairs meeting room at 6 p.m. Please contact rsvp@pensacolasymphony.com if you have made a reservation and are unable to attend or if you would like to add yourself to the list.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to pick up new tickets to attend on October 28?
If you purchased your ticket through the Symphony or Saenger Theatre Box Office, you will not a new ticket. These tickets and seating assignments from October 7 will be honored on October 28. Please bring your October 7 tickets, and present them to Saenger staff for admission that evening.

If you purchased your tickets through Ticketmaster.com or over the phone with Ticketmaster, a refund was automatically initiated for your tickets. We would still like for you to join us, and we have placed a hold on your seats. To attend the concert on October 28, we ask that you repurchase your seats. Please let us assist you in this process by calling 850.435.2533. In order to guarantee your same seats, please call 850.435.2533 by Friday, October 20 at 5 p.m.

I am unable to attend on October 28, and I purchased by ticket through the Symphony office or Symphony website. What are my options?

  • Exchange
    With an entire season of exciting concerts ahead, we hope that you will consider joining us for another performance.Your tickets may be exchanged for comparable seating at any future performances this season. For a full listing of events, click here. Tickets may be exchanged in person at the Symphony Box Office, 205 E. Zaragoza Street, M-F, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Original tickets must be presented at the time of the exchange.

  • Donation
    Tickets that are returned to the Symphony prior to the concert are considered a tax-deductible donation. We are happy to provide you with documentation of a donation for your records when you return your tickets prior to the performance. Tickets may be returned in person at the Symphony Box Office, 205 E. Zaragoza Street, M-F, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Original tickets must be presented to receive donation documentation.

  • Refund
    If you are unable to exchange or donate your tickets, the Symphony will provide a full refund. To obtain a refund, original tickets must be returned in person to the Symphony Box Office, 205 E. Zaragoza Street, M-F, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Refunds will be processed according to your payment method.


I am unable to attend on October 28, and I purchased my ticket through the Saenger Theatre directly. What are my options?

  • Exchange
    With an entire season of exciting concerts ahead, we hope that you will consider joining us for another performance. Your tickets may be exchanged for comparable seating at any future Symphony performances this season. For a full listing of events, click here. Tickets purchased through the Saenger Theatre Box Office must be presented for exchange in person at the Saenger Box Office, 22 East Intendencia Street, M-F, 10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Original tickets must be presented at the time of the exchange.

  • Refund
    If you are unable to exchange or donate your tickets, the Saenger Theatre will provide a full refund. Tickets purchased through the Saenger Theatre Box Office must be presented for a refund in person at the Saenger Box Office, 22 East Intendencia Street, M-F, 10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Please be sure to bring your original method of payment to process the refund.

If you purchased your tickets from the Saenger Theatre directly, you should visit the Saenger Box Office to handle any changes to your transaction. Unfortunately, the Symphony Box Office is unable to process changes to ticket orders that originated from that location.

I purchased my tickets through Ticketmaster, and they automatically refunded my money. I would still like to attend the concert on October 28. What should I do?

  • Repurchase your seats
    If you purchased your tickets through Ticketmaster.com or over the phone with Ticketmaster, a refund was automatically initiated for your tickets. We would still like for you to join us, and we have placed a hold on all seats that were sold through Ticketmaster. To attend the concert on October 28, we ask that you repurchase your seats. Please let us assist you in this process by calling 850.435.2533. These tickets are the only tickets that will need to be reprinted. In order to guarantee your same seats, please call 850.435.2533 by Friday, October 20 at 5 p.m.
